City Blesses Lee Building Project

Salina city commissioners voted unanimously Monday to support an application from Mike Forristal for housing tax credits to convert the Lee Building, 254 N. Santa Fe, into rent-restricted housing.

Flint Hills Holdings, of Lawrence, has submitted a proposal to convert the buildings into apartments, with at least 90 percent designated rent-restricted.
